which do you like better? I find ae clothes fit more normally than a&f, but anf has better styles and fashions and stuff. the price is cheaper if you go to ae too, and they have awesome shoes. but a&f did have the furious cow shirt! what do you guys think. and if you're just gonna bash on this thread then don't post because I don't care how much you hate preppy's.

HAH! preppies...I can't believe there are still people who think they are prep because they shop at American Eagle and Abercrombie. That's just jock, popular, dumbass prep. Real preps wear LL Bean, Polo, Lacoste, J Press, etc. And don't question my credentials, Idaho.

yea i was sporting the ralph lauren polo under my sweater, i don't like abercrombie girls polos, and i love lascoste sweaters, but otherwise lacoste is too dumb expensive for a polo for me

i go to abercrombie for shirts cuz the colors and designs are wicked. their pants i think r dirtbag. specially the ones with the paint and rips... might as well not wear pants. i dont shop at ae cuz there was this 1 time where they had ridiculous t-shirts like fish tacos and i thought that was retarded. i get whatever pants i think r sweet tho. if you look at my closet i have like 5 pairs of plaid or flannel pants that r crazy colors and levi jeans.

I have a dresscode at school, so I like to buy abercrombie shirts. And they're pants fit good, but its just so much damn money for a pair of pants. I don't like ae at all. It just reminds me of someone who has no idea how to dress...but theres nothing i hate more than people thinking there cool with faded shirts that say 'ae '77' looks soooo gay. my favorite place to shop is urbanoutfitters.

Whoever said DI is my man. I love the DI. I picked up a nice Jos A Banks pinstripe suit that fit me like a glove for 15 bucks. 15 BUCKS! That place is unbelievable. You just have to sort through all the used little league jerseys and Jr Jazz shirts.

i think anybody who rips on somebody else for what clothes they are wearing is lame. I did that in like seventh grade when i hated preppies. And why not buy ski clothes instead, although some american eagle pants are cool. cuz it doesn't say abercrombie on the arm, abercrombie in the middle, and abercrombie everywherelse on the shirt

Why would one want to support a company where all you do is pay them to advertise and walk around with a clothing company written across your chest...if you ask me it's kind of weird. What is the significance of having any brand name label written on a shirt or whatever it is anyways? And what is up with the already worn in jeans...you pay 50 doller to have holes in your jeans?! Go and make your own holes in some 15 doller jeans...come on...it can't be that hard.

^ agreed. i will never buy a shirt that advertises a store... like all the american eagle clothes say american eagle somewhere on them. To be perfectly honest i don't really like either stores clothing. The shirts seem tacky and more like something i would wear in middle school. i'm definately a thrift store sort of person but i do like to buy clothes off of the urban outfitters sale rack cuz shirts and stuff are like 10 dollars

I like Abercrombie alot more, it's alot better quality... though american eagles spring/summer clothes this year are pretty nice i just bought 2 new shirts today from there... but yea A&F definately way better made

Neither has any originality. AF and Hollister copy a year or two old designer lines, and AE then rips off last seasons AF. If you are gonna dress that way, go to saks or Neiman Marcus and buy some Diesel or RL. or just shop at buffalo exchange, because you can get any of the aforementioned labels cheap, plus alot of other awsome stuff you cant find anywhere else.

hollister is owned by AF. I don't know if I like their clothes as much, but i love american eagle's flip flops. and their jeans. but how can you deny abercrombie? sometimes i go into abercrombie kids because they have better track jackets and more sweatshirts in the winter.

I used to shop at AF a ton until I asked an employee if they could see if they had any mediums in this shirt and he responded that the people that are hired there arent hired to really help, rather to just model the clothes and walk around. It was really retarded. One other thing that I kinda laughed about was thier window posters. Dont you think that if you are selling clothes you should have your models actually wearing some? Just a thought.

well last time this women kept calling and we were busy as fuck and like we didn't have this shirt and she kept asking me to go look so i would and i still couldn't find it, and i told her to call other places but she kept calling back, and my manager was like i am not gonna answer it, so like we were fighting as to who would pick up, it sucked but was funny

yea american eagle is pretty gay... they do copy abercrombie a shit load... i got this abercrombie shirt a few months ago and american eagle just came out with one that looks almost exactly like it except the A&F one is better quality... wayyy better quality

well i dunno, but i do think that wearing clothes, just for a little hollister seagull, or a A&F symbol is kinda wierd when you think about it. I do admit that i own a hollister shirt tho, only because i couldnt find a pink button down that fit in any other store. I try to do my own thing and always pay tribute to what i love and wear something that has to do with skiing.
