Flailing Arms is the new style?

I have noticed that in the new era of skiing (post afterbang) that some skiers are flailing their arms all over the place in the air and when they land. In my opinion it looks really wack. Don't get me wrong, they have talent, but the style of their tricks just doesn't look that good.

Does anyone else agree?

It comes from trying to be more "flowy" and continuing the motion you were doing before landing as opposed to landing in the afterbang position, stopping all motion and keeping that position through the rideout.

At least that's what I tend to think. I'll end up flailing my arms after landing quite a bit, not because I'm landing out of control, but more because I'm lazy and don't want to stop by arms from continuing to swing around. I'm no film skier, I don't need to look good while skiing.

I throw my arms straight up after I land. I call it the praying mantis pose, it really impresses the 6 year olds hitting the boxes.
