New big mountain skis 2017

Hello people of newschoolers,
I am looking for a new ski from the 16/17 lineup. I ski big mountain with a a lot of freestyle aspects. I am looking for a ski that can shred the steeps and cliffs but also light enough to send tricks and land switch. Probably wont be getting a directional ski, also a want a ski that isn't super soft or super hard. I probably want the waist from like 108 - 115 ish I have narrowed it down the some sticks that I think will be sick and put them in a poll, if you don't think any of these are right let me know.

I had very similar desires in picking a ski, except I'm probably a bit more into a stiffer ski to charge a little harder, and support my weight. I'm 6'2, 205.

I went with Backlands. They're light, have enough underfoot, have a powder rocker, a tail for occasionally riding switch, and aren't obnoxious looking. I'm pretty pumped to try out the carbon inlaid backbone

Still waiting to mount them, but thinking Salomon Guardian 16s

I didn't really consider many of the others you are, but also take a look at the Salomon QST series, which is brand new for this year. They make a 106, (and also a 118 I think?) which might be up your ally. Also supposed to be super light

I'd recommend the 108 kartels from ON3P, I have the 106 from last year and they can handle any terrain out there (although I wouldn't/don't use them for pure park or pure powder) they are the best for all mountain charging imo. They're a mid stiff flex and sound like they would match your kinda style.

Wants a big mountain ski but won't go directional....hmph.

Op there really aren't playful big mountain skis. You are looking at more of a stiffer all mountain twin.

Kartel might be good. Out of your options I would go backlands.

that's a pretty good list so far. If you think the Deathwish might be a little soft, keep an eye out for the Moment Meridian, and also look at the Bibby.

If you're looking for an all mountain twin with a waist, you can also consider the new salomon rocker2 100

This, deathwish is a fun as hell ski so look into those and the Meridian. Bibbys are hella nice for dropping cliffs and sending it hard as fuck but dont expect to do much spinning because they are heavy as balls and stiff haha. Still a great ski if youre looking to charge pow and groomers tho id definitely not take them in the park...that might hurt.
