you're right, but there is some solid math in the video that concludes with traveling [in the left lane] at 5mph slower than traffic is more likely to lead to an accident than driving 5mph faster

Also, it is illegal in most US states to 'travel' or otherwise drive in the left lane unless to pass or exit left (where applicable)

Whoever hasn't figured this out yet probably has a bunch of other retarded habits that they need to worry about first. I swear there is just a part of the population that is missing their common sense brain cells.

This is assuming you have a freeway you can travel more than 5 mph on.

I like the idea of only using the right lane. Some people get so angry if someone is going 110 (km) and they want to go faster. Just best to try and avoid those situations in my opinion. Sure they shouldn't be a dick but some people are just prone to road rage.

No one is forcing anyone to drive like an idiot, but then again not everyone is on your time. If I need to be somewhere and your slow ass is in front of me I'm going to pass you on the right, plain and simple.

There is literally NO reason not to follow this video's instructions. Any argument against it's logic makes you a plebeian behind the wheel.

i've watched slow drivers toodle around in the passing land and have REALLY bad accidents happen because of that, van upside down in the ditch backwards with a baby in the back. (tried to pass on right, blindspotted and when the next driver crammed them the van quickly moved over without thinking and boom, rear ended and flipped.) I'm rather blunt about this because it's a legitimate issue.
