Suddenly everyone's a parenting expert and a tranquilizer specialist. Considering big man Harambe was a 400 pound gorilla, it would take a good amount of time to tranquilize him, and time is not something they had on their side. Once you shot the dart, it would probably be a few more minutes until it kicked in. I just wish they shot the kid, not Harambe ;(
