Take a look at all those sponsors in the trailer. Field Productions/Jesper are getting mad $$$ and the industry as a whole loves stuff like this. Why do you think WME still churn out the same garbage every year?
Meanwhile other skiers are finally now getting more or less equal recognition from just the core community (not big name outside sponsors) and suddenly the whole industry is wack?

You can't just put a whole aspect of the sport in quotes and disregard it. Comp skiers are cool, so are film skiers. I'm not super excited by this trailer and probably won't watch it, but the ski industry isn't "lame" for allowing it to happen.
Calm down everyone and just appreciate that jester is a really good skier who pushes the sport in creative ways and always delivers interesting content.

Not that I have much insight, but i would think going around a loop on a box would be harder than a pipe. Both are insane, but that double flip bail out...shit.
