Hey guys, I've been riding look pivot 140's for the past two or three seasons and loved them. I got some 105mm waist skis so I need to get a pair of the same bindings with wider brakes. With the 140's, I always had my dins around 10 (I'm about 5'7" 140). I know some may think that is overkill, but it's worked so far. My question is, do I even need 140's, or should I save $50+ and just get some 120's? Looking for thoughts from people who have ridden 120's or ideally 120's and 140's.
I think you should be fine with the 12s. Some people say that you shouldnt use your bindings in the highest dins possible but i think thats bs because why would they be designed with a 12 din if the binding couldnt handle it.
they say you shouldn't go withing the lowest or highest 2 on your binding it will wear the binding more. but you'll be alright I like 140s just because they are a stronger binding.
