Having recently joined this site, who are some OG ns members who are either gone but not forgotten or still use the sight, and why are they well known.

Only legend in my time here is obviously brent fischer, otherwise im intrigued by people like papasteeze and nipples

YMR grew up into Dais for the most part, as krotch said. But if you think about just some of the people who were involved it's pretty cool to see where everyone ended up.

Kieran McVeigh aka mcslay- obviously blew up like crazy and then stopped skiing
Cole Gibson- Films with HG and the bunch
Jamie "wildcat" Amodeo- films with hg
Pete Farrell aka lemuel, started working in ski shops and became a gear editor for NS. skis all winter, and runs a marina in the off season
Liam McKinley- filmer for HG and for the bunch and used to be Sugarbush's filmer
PJ aka milksteak- switched to snowboarding, works for sugarbush parks and slays
Charlie Dayton- Skis for Line, travels with tell a friend tour and goes to school at UVM
Me aka tall t dan- still posting on newschoolers.

i discovered ns in 08 and made an account in 09 but the thing i remember most is Arabian fucking with the html code in the forums and making music play in certain threads.

Who was the kinda NS mom who was always hanging out with pros on the Dew Tour? Name is on the tip of my tongue but I can't quite remember.

Also the Heartcarve guy surely deserves a mention, just for the pure distilled crazy he brings to this place.

LiteratureEheath is the only true OG you listed. Many of the old, old, old guard are still active in the cults, but you don't know about those so don't worry about it.

Well thanks for that... still trying to work out if you're more skeptical or cynical. Skeptics are usually open to having their minds changed, a cynic won't look at counter arguments, and if proven wrong, they won't admit it.. and they can never lose.

But the new HC cult (linked below) is for having the mind blown-up ...could take a while though to pull in members.
