So I'm going to Iceland in December and plan on doing images of the northern lights and glacial ice caves. I'll also be doing landscapes there and around where I live. I'm looking to find something around a f2.8 because practically everything I'm going to do in Iceland is going to fall into the lowlight category. Because I'm trying to keep my cost under 1000 I'm having trouble finding something that has the fast apature and can take neutral density filters. If I had the money I'd go for the canon 16-35 f2.8 L II.
I've looked at the Tokina 16-28 f2.8
The canon 16-35 f4
The canon 17-40 f4
Does anyone know any lenses I've missed that would work?
