Mrossi99I know the best boot is the one that fits you best but I just want to know if anyone has recommendations so I can have some ideas when I go into my local shop.
First part is spot on, later part is dead wrong. It doesn't matter what works for other people- they don't have your foot shape or other biomechanical factors. When you go into a shop with an idea of certain boots in your head, you drastically stack the deck against you. You become biased and it often causes people to overlook the right option for them.
The most important part of the "finding the right boot" process is actually finding the best shop/boot-fitter. Find the shop in your area that fits boots the best and trust the fitter there to find the right solution for your foot shape and other needs. Don't research boots, research boot-fitters.
