Replying to Traveling to switzerland

hey nsg, so i was planning a trip to zermatt this september from the 11th to the 24th because why not? And Ive never done a trip to that country, nor ever been outside of the country on my own. So my question to you guys is whats something I need to know when traveling to zermatt? Ive looked up prices for hostels and lift tickets to ski the matterhorn but I just wanna be as prepared as possible so any bits of advice you guys have would be welcomed. thanks
