I know it's a little lat for a summer setup, but what is the best way to do one? Inexpensive. I have a lot of power tools and scrap wood + pvc. I already have a rail built. Ideas? Thanks.
but to put it in my own words, what most people do is cover it in turf, and then put plastic lattice on the run in. Here's a photo of what this might look like:
However, a good way to make use of your scrap pvc would be to cut the PVC the width of the drop in, and use it in place of the lattice. Keep in mind that you will still have turf underneath

It would look like this:
Good luck!
Would it work if I just had littice and no turf under it

Ehhh I tried that with mine at first. It sort of worked, but I had absolutely no edge control which made getting onto the rail a bitch. And I actually had a problem with getting too much speed.

It might work. I'm guessing you'll carry a ton of speed down the in run, but when you hit the turf you'll slow down a lot and it might jerk you forward/make you eat shit. At least that's what happened with mine.
