I've been on the same 25.5 Il moro's for quite some time now, whatever model year the clear white ones are. They fit pretty good, I buckle them once when I start skiing and don't touch them all day, could be a bit softer though. My identical twin brother recently bought some salomon XMax 110's in a 24.5 and I tried them once. They're a bit tight, but they were brand new when I tried them, like not even 5 hours skied on them. Plus the shell is heat moldable and grinding could be done. But the control was way better, it felt like every part of my foot was in contact with some part of the boot.
I'd like something a bit softer than a 110 perhaps, but I can see I'm quickly eliminating lots of options by desiring a 24.5 boot with a 98mm last that's soft. Not to mention there's no shops near me stocking ski gear cause it's summer, let alone anybody who would have a high performance mens boot in a 24.5.
So what else should I be looking at? Technica mach1's? Atomic Redster? Those all come in softer flex but there's not a chance I'll find a place to try those on. I think my dad has some atomic hawx in a 24.5 (not sure on the exact size) that I can't fit into but I can fit into my brothers salomons.
