Which Camera (Nikon D3300 vs. Panasonic FZ300)

Which one is better overall. The Panasonic has more features and has a little bit better video quality but the Nikon is cheaper and has 100% more pixels. I'm no camera expert so I'll take all the help I can get. Any help gets +Karma!



(Ignore the pricing on this site, the Nikon is actually 60$ cheaper)

Nikon D3330 is awesome for the price. A great starter camera for photography. Also, Nikon video is so underrated. Go for it.

what are you planning to film with it? each of these cameras is going to be better at different things

for example the panasonic has 2k video vs 1080p on the nikon, however the Nikon has more mega pixels and will take better stills.

I believe that the Panasonic is a micro 4/3 camera? (someone correct me if i'm wrong) vs the Nikon which is a crop sensor. This means that the Nikon will be a little better in low light conditions

It really depends on what you want to do with the camera as to which is going to be the better choice

I believe it has a one inch sensor it's a bridge camera which sucks bc it isn't interchangeable lens

Just get the nikon, better sensor, more lens options, less money. You probaly wouldn't notice much of a difference or even be able to edit the 2k to its full potential.
