Snapped my core

well this sucks, i tried to hop over a little ditch and landed right on the edge right under my boot and heard a loud snap. later on at lunch i popped off my skis to see a large divet in my base and both sidewalls cracking and starting to displace!

this is made even worse because the skis are 3 seasons old so obviously out of warranty and being a poor college kid i have no money to buy new skis, nor do i have a backup pair.

my idea to fix and try to be able to ski on them for the rest of the season is to inject some 2 ton epoxy into the cracks and clamp them together and let it dry. do you think that would hold up for a couple more times out this season, or does anyone have any better ideas on how i can rig them up to get me buy for another few times out this season?

well you can always try putting rivets through the topsheet and base to hold it together if you don't mind a little drag.
I think epoxy is your best bet.

the best, most expensive at least 24 hour epoxy you can find. none of this cheap 4 hour shit. that'll never hold

That happened to me but only cracks on one sidewall, not both, but I had cracks going both ways in a cross and back of ski was ready to fall off.
Brought to a shop ski taken apart basically and rebuilt with fiberglass, ptex, jbweld and epoxy. 30 layers and 5 weeks later they were good as new. Tech bent it all the way over his knee so tip and tail were touching the ground to show me its all good. Costs 50 bucks and this guy was a genius so good luck.
Now this same pair (LBF) are my rail skis and still holding solid, just some edge missing and another patch self epoxied I am impressed, 200 resort days over 3 years + urban and they are strong as ever.
