Brake Width Help

Just bought 90mm underfoot skis and was wondering firstly, if a 90mm brake would fit, and if not, what size brake would be best. I heard 15mm above the width is the sort of range you want it to be in, but does 90mm fit 90mm?

Just bend the brake arms slightly. They'll be fine.

90 will work just fine! You can bend brakes 6mm before they start to act funny.

As in 6mm each side or 6mm total?

So 90mm brakes would work on a ski with width 102mm or 96mm?

I usually do it as total as to not compromise the metals abilities. .

my rule of thumb is if I have to bend it so much the shape is dramatically altered, then I'm moving up brake sizes.
I personally wouldn't use a 90mm breaks on a ski that's 102 underfoot, because the brakes will be bent so much you'd be better off using a 110 mm brake, and bending it in with a bit of hang.
