Revision help

Yo so their new line dropped, skis look dope, they're cheap and I'm tired of having a 1 ski quiver.

I originally wanted to buy a pair of on3p magnus this year but I don't really feel like dropping 600+ on a pair of skis. I love surfy wider skis that i can flex the shit out of. My kartels are just that but I've found that they're a little too much ski to ride in the park every day and I want something a little smaller.

Should I go with talismans or dimes? I want something buttery and playful can land jumps around 35-40ft and rip through rails with ease. I'm thinking the talismans might be a better choice but i've ever tried revisions out before so I don't know which ones would fit my bill.

I'm in a similar position, I think I'm gonna go with the Talisman. The dimes are listed as an 8/10 flex which seems a little stiff, while in another thread I made earlier this year people seemed to indicate the Talisman (which is a 6/7 flex) is pretty playful but won't just fold over like my line blends. Watching people ski them it looks like they still have plenty of pop without just being a noodle so they sound like a pretty good do it all ski

I have both those skis to review actually. Not skied the tallisman yet but the Dimes are for sure stiff. My reviews are up in late aug/ start of sept. They are good skis but certainly dont really compare to more expensive skis but they are bomb proof. Like anything really you get what you pay for so but they are pretty fun I have found.

You will very likely get better value out of the Magnus. That said, if you still want Revision, you'll like the Talisman. From what I've seen they are actually fairly stiff and should definitely feel surfier than the Dime due to rocker/width

Talisman. I rode them last year. you'll be fine on the 35-40 ft jumps because its nose rocker but no tail rocker. aka landings can be stomped with a lil wiggle room

Dimes are full camber and not at all what you are looking for.

the tailmans are pretty heavy in my opinion i thought it was hard riding a fatter ski with so much camber. I like the dimes alot their light and thinner so you can whip tricks around alot faster

im coming from k106's so i'm not worried about skis being too heavy
