For my birthday yesterday, my gf got me the a set of Atomic Backland 109s.
This is the first non-team rider pair in the US. They're set to come out sometime mid to late August.
I'm super excited on these, they look so sick

spreadeaglerWhere did you get those hooks for your skis tho.
patagonialukesick skis- what are you mounting on them? I was looking into those as a touring ski, so I'm interested to here your thoughts.
OutoftownerI've been thinking about that. I'm debating on Guardian 16s or Warden 13s most likely. I've really liked all the Salomon bindings I've had in the past
I don't doubt you could use these as a tourer. They're light and I expect them to be very versatile. I only second guess on a hiking binding I live in DC, so my 3 or 4 trips west a season aren't very conducive for touring - typically just resort skiing, sometimes hiking a small bit out of bounds. Some of my buddies in CO are getting more into it, so I am on the fence.
skidemon22Are those full twins? Or just a raised tail (like the Rossi soul 7)?
On that note, Do the ladies backlands have twin tips?
OutoftownerNot full (like equal to the front - as the front have more of a powder rocker) but they seem significantly more rocketed than the Soul series. I ski switch a good amount and they look like they'll handle it fine.
The whole rocker profile of the line was modeled to be very similar to the BC
