This is something thats bothers me almost every time I check out the video section. Maybe there's some reason that i'm missing but every video has a view count that is a multiple of 10...






So what's the explanation for this? Am I being stupid or is there something fishy going on here?

I think you're close to right. Paul is out on vacation this week so I can't confirm, but the view counters had to be changed during one X-games where they crashed the site during a trick from Henrik spiking traffic like crazy. The actual view count is tabulated, but the system only increases it periodically and likely rounds it for certain displays to save on processing time.
