Whats up? Im looking to go for a wider park ski this up coming season and can't decide between these two, kartel 98 or the blend... I've had a pair of chronics and filthy riches in the recent past and love both of them so this is a pretty hard decision. I spend about 90% of my time in the park, but do have times on the rest of the mountain where some width would be nice. I like a pretty soft, yet playfully poppy ski. If anyone has some input that would be awesome.
Kartels are way more durable than blends. Kartels arent as soft as blends (blends are soft af) but they are still playful due the rocker they have. I think the blends would be fun in the Park because they are really soft but kartels would be really good at Park too and kill it at the rest of the mountains.
Id go with kartels but hope this helps you to choose which ski you want.
I'd say kartel as well. You'll enjoy that ski anywhere you go with it. Also another one to consider is the armada edollo. I got these and they're a super fun ski as well.
