Dear Freeskiers,

A bit more than a year ago, we, a group of powder-addicts, started a journey. We didn't feel like paying 600-800 EUR for a good jacket and decided, why not make the best powder jacket ourselves.

It's made of high performance, eco-friendly materials. Functionally shaped, packed with lots of useful features and made affordable by the most open company in the outerwear industry.

We teamed up with Sympatex to offer a great quality material, which is 100% made out of recycled bottles. We added lots of useful features and made the jacket affordable.

We did so by cutting out the middle men and selling directly over the internet. This way we can offer the jackets for EUR 389,-. However, during the Kickstarter campaign you can already get the jackets from as low as EUR 279,-

The jackets and concept look awesome, id love to try one on and test out the fabric. Unfortunately the euro to canadian exchange rate makes these still really expensive for me. Hopefully this fabric will catch on as it seems like a really good alternative.

Looks like an interesting concept. I think we will be seeing more direct-to-consumer companies in the outdoor industry soon. The jacket looks well thought out, definitely more Euro-styled than most NSers are used to I think, but by the looks of your Kickstarter it's a hit.

I am interested to see how your fabric works, as the PFTE membrane, or some slight variation, is used by pretty much every outerwear company in the industry. Excited to hear the reviews and see what else you guys work on.

279 euros right now if you back em. About 310 usd. Pretty great price when compared to pattagucci, arcteryx, marmot ect.

Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat. However it's awesome that someone came up with the idea of a 100% recycled fabric that is still high performance. I hope this idea and your company blows up in the industry.

ah man, my Open Wear jacket is still my all-time favorite resort shell. I really hope they come back some day
