Replying to Tips/Advice for sending Mt Baker's Road Gap

Short Backstory: Graduating college this December. Moving to and working at Breckenridge instead of a public accounting firm like my parents had hoped. Have wanted to send the road gap for years and hoping I can make it happen this year.

I would like to hear any advice from skiers who have already done the feat successfully. Advice such as how to plan the trip to Baker to hit the weather right, what time of the year to go, and any other information you may judge to be helpful. Feel free to be as creative as you want with the last one.
