casual.weekdayMost of the past issues were bad welds on towers or simply mechanical failure. Borvig hasn't been in business since the 1990's, so id assume getting lifts repaired is a little more of a challenge. This looks more like unstable ground than an issue with the lift itself. It passed inspection in 2015 so I think the Maine board of Elevator and Tramway Safety should step up is game with inspections, especially since this is the fourth lift accident since 2007.
