Hello newschoolers!
I want to buy new all mountain/park skis. I want your help to decide between ,,Chronic” and ,,Whipit”. Which one is more playful and versatile?
I’m intermidiate level skier.
Height: 5’7

you wont notice a difference. buy the skis from the brand that gets you more hyped to go skiing.

Rode the Chronic for a season and then got the Whipit (Masta Killa!) this last winter, and I love them both. Chronic is much stiffer, will plow through crud and cruise all mountain better imho. They are more stable at high speeds. The Whipits are super flexy and make you want to butter/spin/pop off everything. Like really pop off everything omg so fun.

From what I've heard they are both really fun skis to ride, the chronic me stiff, but also more durable. I've heard from some friends the whip it's don't hold their own as well durability wise and wash out a lot. Whatever ski you buy, go with the 170 range, I think the whip it is 170 and chronic 171 but I think I'm wrong on that

i have whipits and i like 'em, to me the difference is that they aren't made in chinese factories as opposed to line skis. Have heard durability complaints from others, but i don't have any of my own.

I'd go with J skis. Jason is a pretty cool guy and if you looking for a more "playful" then look no further. And if you don't like them they you can simply return them.

if you want a stiffer ski go with the chronic it is also a bit heavier, other wise go with the J's which is what I would do and have done personally.
