Replying to Kartel 108 vs Billy goat

I'll be spending a season in Jackson in 17-18 and I'm conflicted between these two skis.

I currently ski in the Midwest and I have been using the Kartel 98's every day. Love everything about them. I know I'll need a wider ski for Jackson since they get dumped on consistently, but is it really necessary to buy the 116mm billy goats? I ski hard and fast and like my skis to be as light and quick as possible.

The Kartel 108's seem like a good ski for all conditions and they have a better turn radius/lighter weight... but will the narrower waist be a pain on deep days? Just need some input since I have little experience in pow. Thanks!
