Hey ladies!
Since im far far away from high school, im realizing my fit body has been withering away due to not being on any sports teams anymore... what a sad day.
recently ive been going to the gym with my boyfriend, so we can get in shape a lot more for this upcoming winter.
my question - are there any workouts you're doing specifically to help target muscles and areas that will benefit you for skiing this winter? If so, care to share?
Im a total gym noob.

Trampoline gym. Seriously - core/cardio workout with improving balance and ski technique. And it's SO MUCH FUN. :D

Plyometrics! I used to do the p90x plyometrics routine (or I would try to do it, never actually made it through...) when I could find it for free online. I think any plyometrics workout though is good for targeting ski muscles. If you google around I'm sure you can find a solid workout that works for you

Like heaps of people the world over, I use BBG 12 week program from Kayla Itsines. Keeps me strong in all key areas: legs, arms, abs and core. I work some focused balance-oriented exercises into my week as well - I use instagram to find some useful exercises and try to mix them up as much as possible. And of course heaps of cycling!
I'm 3 months out of a fresh ACL as well, so work on a rehab program too. Any exercise tips from NS here would be appreciated! :-)
Happy summer workouts ladies!

lifting. get your knees string with back and front squats, and deadlifts are always great too. Also, slack lining and lots of plyo's. If you have access to a tramp gym, GO. but be careful, and always have fun.
