413Crewsup guys, looking for a new pair for the upcoming season. i have ridden armada thalls for 2 seasons and loved them, lightweight, snappy and lots of control. But the top layer is falling apart and the bottoms r full of scratches so time for a new pair of skis. But i wanna try something different. Im looking at armada bdogs, nordica omw, revisions dimes, and im open to suggestions. Now about me I ski typical east coast conditions, height 5ft 6, weight 135, 80% park skier 10% groomers but wanna start to do a little more powder skiing thats why i was looking at the bdogs cause they have rocker. Help me out guys!the dimes suck. They dont float well at all in the northwest powder, 18 days and I blew out 6inches of edge. My other edge followed shortly. Fun ski but would not recommend them at all as a one quiver. I have been loving my Rossi storms, a stiffer version of the slat with true camber its a fun ski and pretty damn durable, that's if you want to support Rossi haha
THE_SWITCHI love my bdogs but theyre not ideal for me for jumping. If youre not gonna be doing much more than backflips and rodeos then definitely go with them and I live them for rails. Also theyre nice when its impossible to get speed because theyre wide and rockered.I suck at jumps anyway, im always on rails so i want something thats easy to pull up onto rails and have low swing weight. I also think the rocker will help with surface swaps and buttering
Swandog7I think you might enjoy the Moment Vice. I know its thin, but in actuality how much pow are you talking about here? The Vice is nimble, rockered, lightweight and snappy like your Thalls, and aren't bad on jumps. I was 5'6 at the start of last year and rode the 168 no problem. I ski midwest so I'm a rail rat and really enjoyed them, aiming for a new pair next season. The only concern I'd have for them is the skinny underfoot in pow, but it really depends how much you'll actually be in pow. Id also possibly take a look the Line Blend. Don;t have experience with them thoughBasically just those few east coast "pow days" we have you know when it dumps like 2 ft over night and you get a few good days of skiing nothing like powder out west

ButtepackerThe Dimes aren't meant or marketed to ski pow. They are a full camber, fully symmetrical park ski. If you are looking at Revision the Talisman would be a better choice for an all around ski.

Profahoben_212That's like saying DPS spoons are a terrible ski because they can't carve well. The dimes are a 90 underfoot pure park ski. Not made for powder at all...not sure what you expected.you guys need to learn how to read I told him I didn't recommend it as a 1 quiver ski, in the park it's fun but blew up like tnt very quickly. As well as the talismans were fun they floated decent but became lifeless quickly. I just wouldn't recommend them.

Nick.A??? I know that I seem to say this a lot, but try to support small, skier owned companies, I.E.: ON3P, Moment, RMU, etc.
