Timberline Public Park Conditions?

I'm heading down this week and camping in govy to ski the public park at hood. How are the conditions? Do you still need to hike to the lift?

Hiking to the lift for sure not sure far yet but its gonna be bad soon, you can ski to the lot still too but i'd expect alot of hiking.

Walk on and off the mile now, snow stops at upper staging about 10towers up. Halfpipe, 3 jumps, lot of rad features. I honestly had more fun in public than windells the other day park crew is killing it. But its become hike park now

there is a short walk to the chair after you ski down,their moving the jumps one of the digers told me. the rails could be better but its a fun time .

I am heading up there late July and I am confused on how its going to work. Is there a chairlift for the park and now the route to get to the chair is getting long so you have to walk to that? or do you have to hike the whole thing? Will the park still be any good in late July?

By then the park will probably be on Palmer.

Camp1806 has the same Grade A conditions year round! No need to hike to any lifts here.

Well, the animations were just sort of a coincidence. I started playing with them this year, takes a long time to make, but they're special and pretty unique. It all worked out pretty well though.

As people said, it's a hike from the bottom but I've been just hiking the flat tube after the jumps and its crazy fun but the jumps are pretty nice. Really hoping they put in snow guns soon.

It's been unseasonably cool and wet for this time of year according to the local news.
Timberlines has been shut down the past two days due to rain and fog. Hopefully can ski tomorrow on our last day here.

as of this past week there is a half pipe, two jumps, and a brief rail section. The snow is melting quickly and the walk over to the bottom of the mile is getting longer and longer.

Not really great for laps at all, so if you are going to be there, plan on hiking features, it'll be much more efficient.

Timberline lifts were closed again yesterday! Poor Windells campers in session 3 got rained out 4 days out of 6! Luckily we got in 2 hours of sunny skiing before leaving for home last Monday. Better than nothing.

Lots of hiking. Worst snow cover I've seen (I didn't go last summer) for as long as we've been going, dating back to 08'

Thoughts on when they might move to Palmer? Considering a trip this weekend, I don't hate hiking, but 10+ towers is quite a bit.

t-lines website says they moved the park up to palmer. Im headed up on sunday, any word on how its lookin right now? there was still a bunch of snow when i was up a couple weeks ago so im hopin its lit and flowy AF like always
