Are Full Tilts worth it?

I'm just a kid and I'm not old enough to get a job anywhere. I've gotta work a lot to get good money. Now that I have enough to get the full tilts that I really want... I don't think that I really want them. I was thinking about all the other stuff I could do with my money. A new long board, them all coke Adidas NMDs, etc. I've got a pair of Atomics Livefits that have no footbeds, no liner and are much to stiff for comfort but I could survive with them for one more season. Help me out humans.

well boots that fit are worth it.

I'm assuming you haven't been to a bootfitter, because if you don't you are risking buying boots that don't fit properly.

It's worth the extra dosh to go to a reputable bootfitter, as it will be the best boot for you.

think of new boots as an investment. if you know you are going to use them a lot then they are worth it. if not, then just use your old pair and spend your money elsewhere.

If you aren't old enough to get a job I'm assuming your feet are still growing and it wouldn't be the best idea to get a super well fitted boot right now. Until your feet stop growing you don't need good foot beds, you could get some cheaper one size fits all ones. It would still be a smart idea to go into a bootfitter and just tell them right away that you don't have a very large budget, they will still be willing to help, and if they don't have anything in your budget they will have the knowledge to point you in the right direction, also tip them for their time

i wore atomic live fits for the past 2 seasons because I didn't know much about the importance of good boots before and they sucked for me, terrible shin bang nonstop. I just saved up and copped dalbello il moros, definitely worth getting out of those atomics

Since you're "just a kid," you're still growing and it probably isn't the best idea to buy new boots, no matter the brand.

Perhaps early next season, go to a Ski Swap or something and get some less expensive used ones. There are so many gems at those used gear sales, and you might even find some cheapo Full Tilts that you could try for a fraction of the cost.

Don't buy boots by brand, buy what fits best. Same with color, your pants should be over them anyway.

Ive had full tilt drop kicks for 2 seasons now and here are the pros and cons of the boot in my opinion. Pros- lightweight, no more shin bang, VERY good liner always warm and comftable, flexable. Cons- Expensive, im not shure about you guys full tilt boots but as mine have broken in either the cables have stretched or something cause i have to tighten them down alot more to get then tight, little rubber heel wears down, buckles suck the pins get loose and they wobble. Would i buy another pair, yes. But dont be afraid to look past the mainstream the nordica ace boot is totally underated
