What phases have you gone through?

We have all had those awkward stages in life. Share something from your past that makes you cringe.

When I was in 7th grade I was a major nerd, 2009 Bieber hair, fat, and didn't know how to dress. Tried skateboarding, got made fun of and harassed, threw away my skateboard. Around 8th grade I got all "ooh rah semper Fi, I'm joining the Marines when I'm 17". Bragged to everybody and wore USMC shirts to school (yikes). Freshman year, experimental park skiing season...pissed off every local at my hill. Now I'm a Senior and I want to ski bum in Jackson and live off of ramen.

6th grade, tried to grow long hair, it poked over my ears on the sides and i looked like a tool
7th grade, kinda felt left out and bullied, started hanging with the weird kids
8th grade, super quiet, tried to not repeat 7th grade
Freshman year i decided to change and be more outgoing, changed my style of street clothing to more proper (everybody thought i was a stoner)
im a junior now but I've just been doing my own thing and doing it for me and not for others, as for park style, i tried for the baggy, went for the hoodie and semi tight black pants and i think thats where it will stay

In middle school I wore sweatpants/pajamas 3+ days per week.

I was a total loner in 9th grade but I started wearing pants.

In 10th grade the only people who talked to me were the hicks. I learned a lot about trucks and tractors and farms. I also started to smell of cow shit.

11th and 12th grade went back to being a loner who wore large ski hoodies and leggings everyday. I skipped school a lot to ski. Everyone thought I was strange lol.

Kindergarten/1st Grade: Pokemon andI had like 2 friends
2nd Grade: Transformers/Lego Exoforce, Also had like 2 friends, Wanted to grow my hair out super long
3rd Grade: Major star wars fan, Had like all the legos, lot more friends
4th Grade: Nerf and Star Wars, Had the same friends as 4th grade
5th Grade: Wanted to have a girl friend so bad lol, Kind of hated skiing
6th Grade: Got a GoPro and started to like skiing again because I could make videos. Tried to become really popular. Really really liked Halo Reach
7th Grade: Got a girlfriend and a really really solid group of close friends. Started to ski park and made a tramp edit with my friends. Loved Call of Duty
8th Grade: Fell in love with Meli and Luu's youtube videos. Tried to make a bunch of my own. Skied a bunch of park but pretty much didn't progress at all. Got a dslr later in the year. Became upsessed with Battlefield 4
9th Grade: Played cross country, swimming and lacrosse. Had a ton of fun. Began filming with a dslr on snow. Made a few edits and fell in love with it. Stopped playing video games pretty much
10th Grade: My life became almost 100% skiing although I only got to ski like 8 days. Really really fell in love with filmmaking. Quit lacrosse and instead of going with the main flow I started to do my own thing.

Damn I forgot about these two. Yeah Meli's YouTube videos created a ton of "sponsor me" skiers.

Also sat around and played black ops all day when that was released.

Oh yea I totally forgot about my youtuber phase. Yes I was a youtuber for a while. Made it pretty big if I'd say so myself, around 100 subscribers at my best. Had to get out though, it's a cut-throat buisness.

Elementary school: HUGE star wars nerd. I had ever blaster, light saber, action figure imaginable. All the other kids in my neighborhood shared their love for it too.

Early Middle school: Mac Miller started getting famous. I had a weird phase where I was all about "swag". Wore a lot of snapbacks. Was a huge douche and I lost a lot of friends.

Late Middle School: Broke up with my first "girlfriend" and fell into this weird depressed phase. Watched black hawk down one day, and I started working out a lot. And listening to heavy metal. Built up relationships with all my friends again.

9th grade: New highschool. Started hanging out with some bad influences. Did a lor of illegal things. Also had a phase where I dressed like I was in the 80s and listened to a shit ton of 80s music.

10th grade: All my "bad influence" friends either got expelled or transferred schools. Started skiing a lot more, and a lot harder. Stopped doing illegal things. Grades increased.

11th grade. Had a shitty ski season. Illegal things resumed. Grades dropped. Got fat. Became a vegetarian health nut.

Present day: Still have leftover remnants from my 80s phase.

Elementary school I wanted to be just like Eminem, wore "bling" to school and thought I was hip.
Middle school, had a slight emo phase.
High school I think I'm doing fine but chances are I'll look back and hate myself

Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Pokemon, Yugioh, Bionicles, and transformers. Was Bullied and almost suffocated in the 2nd Grade by a fat kid named Chase. His mom later shot his dad so looking back on it now it's understandable but that doesn't mean he should have tried to kill me.
3rd-7th Grade- Really shy nerd who had like 3 friends
8th Grade came out of my shell and started to make tons of friends
9th Grade- Was sponsored by Evil Controllers for Black Ops 1 and became popular for it
10th Grade- Was on the course to going pro in Halo 4 but since MLG dropped it and AGL was not giving out enough prize money, I dropped gaming as a career path as I was super pissed at the Industry but still enjoy watching esports, besides when they are in the Xgames. Later started playing League with my friends and created a lot of bonds with those people and reached the rank of Gold IV then stopped playing.
11th Grade Got into smoking weed with the dune boys and every weekend was more lit than the next
12th Grade Cut my hair and began to become really popular and have chances with the ladies. Won Homecoming King and became a legend ( my principal even said Long Live the King when handing me my diploma )and then graduated with mediocre grades.
1st Year of College Attended CU and passed with a 3.0 and am working on getting my degree in Computer Science. Over the past year I have made so many great memories and friends and can't wait to do so going into the future.

Elementary School: Giant nerd who thought I was smarter than everyone else. Kinda sorta bullied.

Middle School: Still a giant nerd who thought he was smarter than everyone else. Got into longboarding. Quit that like two years later. Then saw Parker White's segment in After Dark at the premier in Denver. The rest is history.

after that I've just mellowed out and become very passionate about music and very accepting of everyone.
freshman year of college-tried to be super extroverted, realized i don't like large social gatherings.

I guess I'm kind of weird cuz I haven't changed that much. I'm in 11th grade now and I've been a jock and a gamer pretty much my whole life. I roll with the crew that a lot of you probably hate but I'm less of a douche than most of them and I get along with pretty much anyone.

I haven't changed much. Started skiing when I was in 6th grade, haven't progressed a lot after sliding my first rail. Started playing video games as of this year. Don't have any real friends I hang out with, only the fake ones at school because they have been in the same class as me forever. Starting eleventh grade this year, probably not going to change much. To shy to branch out and make a couple if any friends.

I was like this for years. I was very social when I was younger, started getting made fun of and stuff so I just kept to myself until sophomore year. One day I started greeting old friends and talking more to new people, and it quickly built up my confidence. I've been much more of a people person... you just have to break out of your shell.

that's almost identical to me, only that I never played lacrosse, and instead tennis. Meli and Luu's youtube videos were really the first park videos that made me realise how much fun skiing was.

Elementary- I had like 5 friends
Middle school- transferred, had a lot of friends
8th grade- realized shit was fake, went on my own a bit
9th grade- hung out with my bros friends, some close friends of mine
10th grade- first year skiing, skied like 75 days and changed my life, met a lot of new people
11th grade- started hanging out with more school friends who weren't fake and born on popularity, skied 86 days so far, 15 more to go to hit 101 days!

Present: Chillin, skiing, hitting up local babes and the lake
