Want to use netflix for a week. Have paypal

Friend just stopped paying for their a week ago. I was gone camping anyway.

That said I want to use it this week. I'm in the middle of some ken burns docs.

Down to pay pal somebody like $5 to use it for the week. I'll delete your info after. Going to be out of the country for 4 or 5 months so I'm not going to be leaching off your netflix forever.

Will probably get my own account when I get back but don't want to deal with trying to get the free trial then cancel before I'm gone. Even though it's super cheap, I hate dealing with that shit.

yeah. I just don't want to deal with putting down a card and then having to cancel it. See if it actually cancels. I hate auto renew stuff. Phone contracts anything.

I'd give somebody like $5 just to watch a few docs.

The time you spent making this thread and replying to me you could've signed up and cancelled it. People like you annoy the shit out of me, begging people to use their Netflix accounts, no one wants you to pay them $5 to use their account. Netflix accounts have limited users, it's costs $8, like I say to every person who asked to use my Netflix account I say "fuck off, stop being cheap, get your own account"

I've been paying for Netflix since they started streaming, like 7 fucking years and I've never noticed the $8 charge on my credit card bill, ever.

People ask people to paypal them small amounts for the dumbest shit on here all the time.

Begging? I offered far more than the value of the service for the service and to pay instantly.

Maybe I'll make another thread asking for it for free.

You went into douche mode right off the bat here.

I'll probably buy a house within the next few years. Could now if I felt tied enough to a location.

But since I asked wanted to watch something for this week, just this week I'm poor as shit and begging.


I didn't really foresee this being such a problem or I'd have just bought the damn thing and probably let it ride while I'm gone. Honestly $40 -$50 wasted on netflix that I'm not using is worth it to not have to deal with douche bags.

when I signed up it said the first month would be free as a trial but they charged my card a few days later.

I think this is the first time i've responded in a negative way to a thread in a very long time, please don't be that guy. Also, my reasoning is pretty justified here, this shit pisses me of and I expressed my opinion about it, deal with it.

I'm just going to buy it and cancel it. I had some crazy ideas that offering more than the value of the service wasn't a horrible deal.

Honestly would have even paypal'd $10 to somebody. Why? The same reason you don't care about your $8 every month. Everybody spends money/thinks about money differently.

To me, Paypall'ing somebody more than the value of the service was simply easier to me. Why idk. Maybe I'm weird, but I wasn't begging anybody for anything.

Why is the internet so mad.

The biggest issue is that Netflix only allows 2 users for the base fee, you can pay more for 5 users I believe, but my point was that people probably don't wanna give you access to their account because they probably already have two people/multiple devices using it.

I thought it was like 4. I didn't realize it was so low. I guess most people already have too many people on theirs. I shared it with a girl for a long time and we never had problems but then I think we both stopped using it for a while or were out of contact or something.

They have made some changes.. base fee is 1 then you can pay like $10 for 2 and I can't remember how much $$ it was for 4 and UHD but 4 is max amount of people last I checked.

They have been making some changes, but it might be different for the US though.



also I am pretty sure they are going to be forcing people to pay the $10 for 2 people in the next little while if they haven't already.

You can use netflix between as many people as you want as long as you're not watching on more than 1 or 2 devices (depending on plan). I used to share my account a bit, usually in exchange for other services (ie my roommate paid for xbox live, i paid for netflix) but then when roommates would move out, they'd have my info, i didnt care for awhile but after i started getting shut out when I wanted to watch something, i deactivated every device and changed my password haha

I went ahead and bought it btw. Didn't even watch much of it. Like a half hour of a civil war doc late night.

Anyway I have it. Just going to cancel it while I'm gone or more likely just let it ride. Whatever.

Somethings you don't really expect to turn into such a shitshow. This was one of those threads.

Yeah I share my Netflix account with my boyfriend and one of his sisters. It's irritating when I wanna use it and can't because they are both on it (my plan only allows for two devices at once) when I'm the one paying for it. That's why people aren't down to share.

You could tell one of them to get off yo shit. Or have them pay $1 a person to get the extra 2 devices at once.

I usually would share with people with different schedules. I was always watching super late night. Never in the day or evening and it worked.

I really didn't think it would be a hassle. I really didn't care about spending $5-10. And I've done that with stuff before. Just wanted to watch the flix on my xbox.

Self sufficient? I hit up the webz, offering money. Nobody wanted it, so I bought it. Pretty damn simple honestly. This wasn't a 3 week process of me begging for something with no money.

Obviously had I known it would be such a big deal I wouldn't have bothered.

I have money, I have netflix, and I'm pretty self sufficient.
