You are now a supreme ruler of the world (50 year period. No earlier than 1700. No later than 2100). You can stop 3 atrocities from happening. You can change up to 10 things in the world (Examples: Abolish communism, Castrate all vegans, Nuke Fiji, Abolish capitalism, Ban dildos, etc).

Take control around 1980.

curb rapid population growth and work to reduce global population to under 2.5 billion, as a result implementation of renewable energy on a global scale would be far easier. Also less strain on resources such as water and food.

make a global system of fair taxation and greater distribution of wealth to create free healthcare for all, a universal education system, and a culture whereby inherited wealth will have no effect on your chances in life, only merit.

fund space programs and research in the sciences to further our knowledge of the universe.

prevent the destruction of areas of high bio-diversity in order exploit natural resources.

this is a very small list of things i'd do. i feel it would make a fairer, healthier global culture.

for class so....

First I would create a united world order to support the growth of international business development in an effort to create a working sustainable infrastructure so we don't burn our planet up with fossil fuels.

Second I would create a united international force against terrorism and abolish all of it.

Third I would create an act that requires people to respect each others beliefs on a punishable level.

That would solve:

Global Warming
Friction between belief systems
Terrorism

I think my job here is done.
