What to do in Denver/CO

I've been a couple times since legalization. Of course you can buy some dank legal chron, so if that is what you are into then it is a no brainer. There is so much to do, it's stupid. It just depends on what you are into.

There are a lot of cool record stores, if you listen to metal/punk or anything like that then check out Black and Read and Chain Reaction. Black and Read is also a game store, they have tons of shit.
There are a lot of breweries around too so you can get some good ass craft beer.

Garden of the Gods is cool, can't speak for Pikes Peak. If you are going to be near Boulder then you can check out the Flat Irons, good hike. Also, if you are going to go to Gardon of the Gods, check out Manitou Springs, It's a small town outside Colorado Springs. There is a cool drive you can go on and you drive through these haunted tunnels, ask a local.

JAHpowSo I'm going to see M83 at Red Rocks next tuesday and I'm driving down on Friday for a few days of being a tourist.

What are some must see places that I should go to while there?

Tentatively on my list are checking out Rocky Mountain National Park one day, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak another, walking downtown Denver.

Idk, I've only been to the airport. So I'm at a loss for knowing the really cool stuff.

He's right. The nightlife is badass there. Broadway has the coolest bars. If you are into craft beer (and metal music) Check out Trve Brewing. Really good beers, awesome atmosphere.

If you can't bring a bike then you can get down on public transport, the buses are cheap and can get you around town with relative speed and ease.

There are some cool art museums in Denver, and the 16th street mall is fun to walk around on. There are lots of cool parks in the city and of course lots of good dispensaries. Rocky mountain national park is awesome, and so is Boulder if you're up that way after Red Rocks.

Went full tourist in Denver while I was there in april. Had 2 days to hang out in the city and went out one night as well. Downtown denver area is just so cool. Such a good spot to walk around. I bar hopped for 3 hours with a co worker and had a blast.

I was just driving through Colorado Springs last week and I thought Garden of the Gods was pretty underwhelming. Give it a quick drive through but there are better views to be had. Granted I had just been hiking through Sedona, Phoenix and Durango.

Head to Summit County and start climbing some mountains. Flat Irons near Boulder are a good call too. Every time I get out west in the summertime I prefer getting some good hikes in over spending time in cities. You just don't get some of those views out east.
