dan1080I'm really confused here. I mean, yes I'd still travel by bike, foot and boat (boat being the only one that could bring you the furthest distance modern ly). What is the point here though? Would I walk from NY to california based on your criteria? No. Would I rather take a boat around the world from NY to get to California? Based on your options, yes. Obviously there are some creative ways to travel the world but you must be even more fucked up than I am right now to think of a stupid question like this.
Nah, I think I see where OP is coming from. I read an article a year or two ago about people's motives to do certain kind of activities and the whole idea behind it is that a good amount of people usually wouldn't do most of the stuff that they say they're "passionate" about if it weren't for ease and social media attraction and stupid shit. I forgot the specific details but it was something along those lines.
So I think OP was trying to get at is like do we enjoy traveling so much that we'd do it even if it was more difficult? It's kind of like asking would you still ski if there was no snow, and people who really loved skiing would find a way(snowflex, grass skiing, etc) but for the most part people would say fuck it and find something else to do. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong but that's how I saw it haha.
