I guess another professional mountain biker has died this year. Apparently he died of head trauma from crashing.
I'm not even sure what to say really, i'm starting to see why some of my friends stopped..

This is such shitty news. At least he died doing what he loved- riding bikes. I met him a couple of times at various world cup races. He always struck me a super chill and grounded guy. He will for sure be missed.

Incredibly bummer news to see today :(( been with Stevie since he first popped up in Seasons, it's crazy to see how his determination lead him from there to winning WCs. So many legends dying this year man

Such a tragic and shocking loss for our community. I know people who were close friends with him and it was such a devastating thing to hear. It should be noted that he died in a motorcycle accident.
May the chainsaw live on in our hearts
