Also, A Tribe Called Quest. When I was younger and heard them for the first time, it completely altered what my idea of hip hop was.

Not really the 90s.



Erik B and Rakim deserves a nod. Paid in full, though a late 80's albums is one of the best out there. They crushed the late 80s to mid 90s
