I definitely agree that he was a favourite going into it but I definitely wouldn't say it was a done deal from the get go. Having been there for the whole week there were some other guys that were definitely contenders. Siver and Jacob landed some insanely tech rail tricks and I think if Henri hadn't gotten a bad concussion on day one then he would have stood a chance with all his Ruka Wizardry. Quinn was right on his heels the whole time as well. And just mentioning those three isn't to say that the others didn't have a shot either because everybody absolutely killed it and brought their own thing to the table.
Keegan definitely deserved it and he rightfully took top spot but the other boys made him work for it!

Drink Butter called it on their ig post from June 17 so props to them too. Also wasn't really sure who would win from part 1,2 recaps but the third had so many bangers from him!
Seems like the SuperUnknown format with all the finalists at a park shoot pretty much eliminates any chance for the pow skiers to win. Is every skier being judged at the park shoot? Maybe i've missed something. For guys like Dylan Siggers and Brody McSkimming, it doesnt seem fair to throw them in with a bunch of park guys and pick the best one.
I could be completely wrong about the format. Anyone have any insight?

I was thinking the same thing, it really puts the park riders at a huge advantage. Why even bother putting a pow skier in finals (even when they really deserve to be, like it was this year) if they aren't gonna have a shot in competing with park guys?
There should be a superunknown for pow skiers too.

I mean those dudes definitely get exposure and whose to say they won't ever film with level 1? I feel like superunkown does a lot for the all the dudes in it, even if they don't win.

now now douglas, it's suited for the kid who is going to go out and get it the hardest during the week of shooting. Mitchell B is the perfect example of being a pow slayer who still came out and held it down hard enough at the park shoot to win.

That is very true, although I just think the competition is inherently unfair for pow skiers. It does wonders as far as exposure goes though, I'm sure
That said I made friends with this guy online thats coming into a bunch of money. Im stoked to have an investment finally pay off huge. Check should come any day now.
