bjcali04I'm going to be an incoming freshman but I have friends who live at Redstone campus and it seems like a chill place also Gus kenworthy not so much but I don't hate you but for real if anyone has some suggestions on the roommate process
Honestly, NS is a good place to start. Best way to find a cool skier. Otherwise, asking around at orientation is a good bet too. If you can't find a cool skier there, you'll probably still be able to find someone similar to you.
And if you do go random, you'll still have a pretty good chance of getting someone similar to you. Seems like your kind of niche is quite a popular one here. Plenty of freshmen here tend to only care about befriending people if they're #420friendly (and then generally end up good friends anyway).
Also, I lived on Redstone freshman and sophomore year and can honestly say it's very overrated. Every campus has great pros and their respective cons. The green is cool and the vibe is great but the weather's only nice enough to hang out on the green 2 or 3 months of the year and it's a solid 15 min walk to classes. And it's not really much of the "party" dorms anymore cuz the cops have really caught on.
