Ok for my high school personal project I'm building skis I've got the design (cut and materials I want) covered for the most part. But there are materials I can't find so....
What kind of bamboo is used for the core and where can I find it?
Where can I find Carbon or kevlar stringers?
Where Can I find 2.5 edges?
What kind of resin(s) will I need?
Any source for materials would be helpful.
I plan to cut and clamp together boards and make a press, How much weight is needed and how long?
How much should a pair how quality skis cost? Im thinking these will cost me about 300 a pair and take about 20 hours. I'm sure I have more questions but right now this is all I can think of. +k answers
