Just committed, really stoked on it. Ill be rooming with a homie but we opted for the argenta hall which is triple occupancy so hmu if you haven't found anyone by the time you do your housing application. Will also be getting a squaw pass. Have you checked out or toured the campus yet?

You'll be stoked on it haha, its a really nice campus with a really cool vibe. And ya for sure! I myself was really curious about who else from ns is attending but through friends attending and friends of friends and one or two threads Ive been able to talk to a couple of guys about the scene so thats been helpful. Ya he's offsite but trying to get him on ns and up to speed haha, he skis so thats good haha.

Neither haha, I live near SF, CA, but ski at Squaw/Alpine. Sorry! I have a homie who did his undergrad at UNR though, feel free to PM me with any questions you want me to pass on.

Hey I go to UNR too and it's dope and we have a freestyle team that should be getting revamped next year! It would be cool to have an NS meetup fall 2016 for Reno/Tahoe members!

Also, feel free to shoot me questions about Argenta or just the school in general. I live in Argenta right now!

Whaaaaaaaaaat...... That's all I used to eat freshman year! Cheesesteaks, hush puppies, salads, and grilled cheese with pickles (on the panini press). I'm pretty sure I ate a cheesesteak everyday for the whole year.

I went to a few meetings my freshman year and it didn't really seem like my thing. no one really seemed like they were that into park or were on newschoolers or whatever so I just did my own thing with my friends lol. but a meet up would be hella rad!

god, seriously the DC was the worst. I remember one food truck thursday they had a monte cristo type thing, but replaced the buns with donuts... they have all sorts or weird concoctions.

I literally eat the stir fry everyday hahaha totally gonna branch out to grilled cheese with pickles

yeah it's pretty nice, I think they understand that meal plans are a difficult thing to figure out until you actually use them. they'll probably tell you about it when you get up here, but if not you just go to the student housing services office and fill some stuff out.

Yeah, the team this is a little flaky and disorganized but there's a lot of kids on the team this year who want to make it a bigger and better thing next year so stay tuned!

And holy gross, that sounds awful. The DC is whack but props to them for trying i guess. Also I think there's a ski team party this weekend lol I could be wrong though, I haven't heard much about it. Ask Ryan (Profahoben), he's hella more connected with the guys on the team haha

Where off campus are you living? My friends and I just leased a 5x5 at The Summit...rent is seriously gonna kill me next year. Who tf pays $625 a month? Fuck.

where's the summit at?? all I know of is sterling/the republic and the highlands. but what the hell? fuck that shit. I'm in a god damn house and my rent is $425 a month before utilities. super close to campus too, like 9th and ralston a block over from sig ep's house.

for sure. some guys from the team were wanting to do that. We did it back in february when we had that hot spell and i heard it was super fun!
