not bad really. I worked back-to-back-to-back 12 hour long graveyard shifts from midnight to noon every week. I wouldn't sleep between shifts. Food is most important and if you have to a 20 minute snooze should have you feeling much better.
I feel you. I'm averaging 5 hours a night over the last week and a half. I've had back to back exams every day since tuesday and kinda just want to curl up and die
I was an insomniac for years where I could only get about an hour or two a night. Finally went away but now I am working graveyards again, 11-7 eat dinner at 8am then go ski from 9- 3 then usually sleep from 4-10 and get up for work if I manage sleep. Your body gets used to it after awhile I just make sure to stay hydrated and I try to take an hour nap mid day for me usually keeps me going
