If we get enough serious guesses, by middling them we should come reasonably close to the actual distance.

if you compare his straight air to the biggest downhill racing jumps, which are around this order of magnitude, i do not think my guess is 'hilariously wrong'.

This thread isn't about my guess anyways. I want hear everyones guesses.

He's definitely pushing 200. The jump at Hahnenkamm, Kitzbuhel is estimated at 80 meters. It looks like Ahall went at least as big as this if not bigger honestly...

If he popped imagine how much further he would have gone.

And one of my favorite things about this air is how he hovers the ground the whole time. He never goes very high off the ground, just flys at a cruising atlitude of about 18 feet or so.

That was definitely larger than chads I think. I'd say 175ft or so. Fucking nuts.

In the team interview they did say he went bigger than delorme's 120ft. straight air, so i'm guessing maybe 140-160

good idea to compare it to something we know the length of. but it's hard to compare cause a lot of his distance comes at the end cause he just keeps dropping for a bit. and he definitely doesn't travel 45% farther than chad's (175ft vs 120ft) from my view

im changing my guess to 110 ft

Yeah except they're hitting it twice as fast without any lip whatsoever. If he went 200ft, he would be dead on that jump.

It's super hard to tell how big he went in the video because of the angle of the shot doesn't lend well to perspective. I wish there was a second stationary angle filmed from the side and played in real time. I still think he went at least 130 feet though.

I'm sorry OP but 250 feet is a very bad guess.

Below is a jump with a gap around 100 feet. This means you're saying he literally covered a distance 2.5 times of this? That's absurd.




I think between 130-180 would be pretty reasonable. The camera angle makes it seem hard to tell. But I doubt he went past 200 feet. That's a bit over an olympic size swimming pool.



Having said that, that is still a ridiculously amount of distance he got, and the landing was crud.
