incredible night for basketball for sure. kobe's send off was like a movie script...60 points with the game winning bucket? like wtf?

also, the warriors breaking the bull's record and steph hitting 400 three's is insane, i don't think his record will be touched for a loooong time. stoked to see if they repeat.

playoff hockey is really all I give a shit about but kobe seems chill. the jazz gave him a snowbird seasons pass and some skis so I hope to see the black mamba getting rad sometime soon.

yeah, red wings but i dabble with some playoff basketball here and there. Not like a crazy sports fan but i like being informed on whats up and how everything plays out.

Did you watch the blues- Blackhawks game? That was a really good game. As well as the bolts and wings yesterday was just a really good day for playoff hockey

For me in Michigan its been a big day, The Detroit Pistons (NBA) beat the Cavs in the first game of the series. NHL is life so it was sad to see the defeat to Tampa, but hopefully it won't be a repeat of last year, even though the Wings got into the playoffs based on a technicality (25 straight years of playoff appearances and counting).

Playoff hockey is a whole new level. I only caught the beginning of the hawks game but I was definitely pumped to catch the replay of the Backes goal. I'm a pens fan so yesterday was pretty reassuring considering Zatkoff was in net. He kept them in it that first period. The caps-flyers and isles-panthers games today were entertaining. I'm torn whether to root for the caps because I dislike the flyers so much or the flyers because they would be easier if the pens make it to round 2

Also being from Pittsburgh the NBA is largely irrelevant in my life. Kobe is cool I guess.

I'm going for the Kings these playoffs because the avs are out so I got the Kings and the caps in the cup finals but I feel like my bracket is going to get fucked up by the end of the first round.

That Kings Sharks matchup is going to be brutal on both teams. I could see that going 7 games easily. The Sharks always end up looking promising but then end up going against phenomenal teams in round 1 and losing. Dallas looks pretty dominant and with Seguin on the verge of coming back they will only get better. Plus they should have a walk into round 2. This is my favorite time in sports. When every night I can watch multiple hockey games that almost all promise a good game.

the pistons and cavs haven't played yet. the first game of that series is sunday..
