Good set-up for my mom?

Planning to surprise my mom with some skis next fall as an early Christmas present. She currently rides some crappy head skis that are like 149CM long, which is terribly short.

She's 5'5 130ish, one hell of a skier, on ski patrol, and her current skis are definitely holding her back. She is more of groomer skier now because she is getting into her 50's, but we take a few trips out west each year with occasional pow in the midwest.

I'm very interested in ON3P Jessie's since I've had such a great experience with the company, but open to more recommendations. What is a good length?

I'm in a similar situation trying to help my sister find some new skis. She demoed the Volkl Kenja when she went out to Snowbird this year and really liked them. I think they are 90 in the waist and slightly rockered. She is 5' 5" as well and in terms of length around 160 would probably be good. I can't comment on the Jessie but I've owned both filthy riches and kartels and ON3Ps are mad durable skis that I recommend to anyone.

See if you can find Volkl Yumis. They were both my gf and her mom's favorite skis they demoed last year.

If you want twintips so she can shred park laps, get her Volkl Pyras

With out knowing more about where she skis, The volkl Kenja would be the ideal ski sale ski as the Kendo (yumi would be a tad soft) You can never go wrong with the blizzard Black pearl either

Im just laughing at this question. Anyways, my dad and I set up my mom with some 166 ARWs and they hold up pretty well in any condition. Granted, she doesnt go fast what so ever, prefers groomers over pow, and slides instead of edge turns so theres that... Idk just a suggestion to throw out there.

Unless your mom skis switch, I wouldn't look at a twin. A lot of patrollers don't like twins, because they're difficult to stand in the snow and rooster tails while towing a sled are bad news.

But yeah, the Blizzard sounds like a good choice. Us old farts like Blizzards.
