the 1.0 has a medium flex (according to their website, i've never ridden them), right in the middle. so it wouldn't be hard to butter, but they're probably not going to be super soft either. i can't really think of any factions that strike me as real buttery per say, but definitely i don't know much at all about their older skis, so i might consider checking those out.
there are some other companies make some pretty renowned buttery skis tho, if you're willing to look beyond faction

1.0 and 2.0 are pretty flexible. 1.0s are a super good ski for butters. my friend has a pair and they were one of the most fun skis I have ever ridden
