When I was in middle school, I had a phase where I hated sandwhiches. So instead my mom made me a bagel with cream cheese and jam and put that in my lunch. I went a few years eating them at lunch time.

My family eats goose and cabbage for Christmas. I grew up eating beef tongue. I put sour cream (along with jam) on my english muffins. There's gotta be more, I eat almost anything.

At sub shops, I get ham and cheese without anything on it and everyone says its boring. To me, all of the tomatoes and lettuce just water out the sandwich.

i worked at dominos for a while and I cannot eat gross, meaty pizza. Like a ham, pepperoni and bacon pizza is the bane of my existence. veggies only on a pie for me, or only one meat.

but really theyre not weird at all, quite delicious and very good for you. people in north america need to eat more of the animal.



and before someone says foie is unhealthy, it is the worlds highest food source of vitamin k2, a very powerful nutrient most people are deficient in. in gascony france, where foie is cheaper than butter, the people enjoy lower rates of heart disease than practically anywhere in the world.

There is a really great restaurant scene now in Pittsburgh, and a lot of these "nose-to-tail" places have really expanded my palate. In reality, it's not the food itself that's weird, just the names. One of the things that really stuck with me is crispy pig face.

And yes, it's actual pig face.

One of my Favorite weird sandwiches.

Another good sandwich is actually fried pickled beets with bacon and BBQ sauce with toasted bread. My fiance got me on this and they are actually really freaking good. I normally am not a fan of beets. Took her a while to get me to try it the first time.

I actually liked throwing some salsa or even spaghetti sauce in with my mac n cheese. I used to use Katchup a lot then moved to BBQ because I grabbed it accidentally once and it was good. Then I started experimenting with what else I could add to make it taste good. lol
