What's the deal. How come on more than half the runs, the guys were throwing a d-spin on one of the two jumps? Doesn't a trick lose it's value when people throw it over and over and over? It was starting to look ugly, even though it's such a steezy trick.

But seriously, are d-spins really easy to do or something? There was more d-spins then 3s and backflips. It was strange.

haha. dspins are now just another trick to throw. Its not spectacular to throw an off axis thing like it was back in the olypics when Jonny Sellout did it. They're fair game and now they're getting to be just another homogenized mogul trick.

Hmmmmm, maybe they aren't in xgames yet, but I was watching TV today and it was mogul skiing, so I guess the two weren't related.

It's kind of like switch 1080 in big air or slopestyle, people are going to try and figure out which trick has the best chance of scoring well, and then everyone will do it. Personally I love the fact that mogul skiers can throw whatever trick they want finally, but I like to see some variety (in moguls and newschool).

haha for like 2 years after that my friends would call any cork spin that i showed them in a ski movie a dinner roll.
