Waxing skis and rails

I'm going to a competition and I want to wax my skis for the slopestyle event, however I haven't waxed them all year and I really like the way they have been feeling on rails. Does waxing your skis affect the way they perform on Rails?

No, at least in my experience it hasn't.

If you want extra grip don't scrape the wax off under the area you grind on
