Ive been seeing lots of computer created accounts spamming on NS today... Is this new?

There could be a certain amount of user activity before you can post, like having to vote x number of times

We actually have implemented some new rules for new members, 1 new thread per day and 5 replies per day for the first 30 days, then after 30 days all restrictions are lifted. It's been a huge pain in the ass and we're doing our best to combat it.

What about making the user, if they are creating a thread, type in one of those codes that have the weird letters and lines through them? Like the ones some websites make you do if you guess your password wrong too many times to make sure you're human.

Sorry I tried to explain it the best I could, I don't know the technical name for it.
