I liked it because of the ending, it was totally different and like he said ^^ suprising, but over all I though it was pretty slow, you definatly have to be in the right mood to watch it.

The 'beasts' in the woods that are terrorizing the village are actually the elders of the village which is set in present day 2000. The elders just act like beasts to scare the people and keep t hem from leaving the village. There I ruined it for all you assholes. Now I saved you 2 hours.

i love m. night shyamalan.
The village has some cool cinmetography.
I hated the language used, even though it was supposed to be set in whatever past time, and the ending sucked.
By the way, i actually read books (shocker!) and this has been done way too many times. i knew what was going to happen by the third minute of the movie. so simple. m. night really went downhill for his last movies.

Yeah signs was a brilliant movie too. THe aliens travel thousands of millions of miles across the universe but forget that water, the most abundant natural resource on the planet they were attacking...would kill them if they were slightly touched by it. Even thought entire atmosphere has water vapor in it....What a great director, youre right man.

The village was awesome, it was an interesting commentary on society in modern times. Just because people like Dspin7x only go to movies that have no value, doesn't mean its a bad movie. Hell, dspin7x probably thought that Jurassic Park 3 was the best movie of all time.

it did have interesting themes to it and the acting was good, but the ending was too predictable and it turned into a big love story instead of the scary movie i planned on seeing.
